Enjoy the Dolce Vita (The Good Life!) in Palm Villa, a new six bedroom, four bathroom luxury island home close to the beach. The Italian influence in the design is reminiscent of properties found in Venice and Tuscany. The two master suites each have their own jacuzzi spa tub, a separate shower trimmed with antique stone style ceramic tile. Ideally placed in one of the most exclusive areas of Anna Maria Island, it is just a few minutes' walk to the beach and a short stroll to the secluded northern tip of the seven-mile stretch of soft sugar sand, where you will often feel as if completely alone on a paradise island. This property offers both luxury accommodation and the chance to really get away from it all.

With a generous open sundeck overlooking tropical gardens and a large pool to match you have the perfect spot to while away the hours in glorious seclusion while the world carries on around you. But with some of Anna Maria Island's most beautiful places just a short journey away you have the best of both worlds. Take in the sunset at Bean Point, with only gulls and the gently swaying sea oats for company, or head over to the nearby Rod n Reel pier for some good eating and maybe a few fishy tales as the lights of the Skyway Bridge and Tampa twinkle in the distance.

But you don't have to feel guilty about simply staying in and putting your feet up either, with luxury leather sofas in the bright, open-plan living area, you can enjoy a movie on the widescreen TV, lend a hand with dinner in the spacious kitchen, or just sit around the dining table and make the most of each other's company. There is just something about this relaxed, inviting home that makes your cares instantly disappear and really gets those relaxation muscles working.

The property was built to exacting standards for guests who demand the very best. The high ceilings, big windows and light walls create a feeling of space and with the addition of a spacious balcony at the front of the house you can always grab a quiet moment alone with a favorite book. From the sumptuous bed linens, through designer bathrooms to the tasteful decoration, every effort has been made in pursuit of creating something a little bit special.

Living Area

The main living area is a large open-plan space with two leather sofas inviting you to make the most of a large flat screen TV, with cable (including HBO & Showtime) and a DVD player. Featuring a mixture of classic period detail and modern furniture, you can also just relax and enjoy the warm breeze coming through wide French windows leading out on to the large sundeck overlooking the pool and garden area.

Enjoy meal-times at the stylish dining room table while you listen to your favorite CD on the music system, while in the morning you can dine at the breakfast bar and plan the day ahead.

Kitchen

The bright and airy open-plan kitchen features gleaming granite counter tops, a breakfast bar and top-quality appliances, with ceramic hob range, fan-assisted oven with microwave above, double refrigerator with ice maker and ice water dispenser, double sink and Maytag dishwasher. The light solid wood cabinets are well equipped with pots, pans, cutlery, ceramics and glasses. Everything you will need to make you feel in a home away from home.

The dining area with room enough for six at the dark wooden table, is framed by a spectacular chandelier, hand crafted in Sarasota.

There is a separate utility room, with washer/dryer and ironing board.

Bedrooms

Offering flexible and spacious accommodation, the bedrooms are light and airy and all feature luxury bed linens, sumptuous mattresses and stylish furniture. With two kings, two queens, four twin beds, two full beds and one queen sofabed, there are plenty of sleeping options open to you - and plenty of room for up to 16 to do it in comfort.

The two master bedroom suites have jacuzzi style spa tubs, walk-in showers and antique stone style ceramic tile flooring.

Bedroom one features a grand king-sized, four-poster bed with thick, pillow-top mattress, luxurious linens and ornate, classic style furniture. On the wall is a flat-screen TV, while outside is a private Juliet balcony ideal for enjoying your morning cup of coffee as the sun comes up. Its en-suite bathroom features a walk-in shower, jacuzzi bath, his and hers twin sinks, solid marble surfaces, Italian-style stone tiled floors and walls and large mirrors.

Bedroom two also has a king-size, four-poster bed in which to enjoy a grand night's sleep, and contemporary, dark wood furniture. Again with silky bed linens and a thick, comfortable mattress, you are sure of a good night's rest.

Bedroom three is light and airy and includes two queen-sized beds, light bed linens and tasteful, classic furniture.

Bedroom four sleeps up to four in two pairs of stylish bunk-beds made of solid hardwood, with wooden floors and again a light, airy feel.

There is a further bedroom containing two full beds, and bedroom five, which doubles up as the den, has a queen size sleeper sofa and large flat screen TV resting on an antique table.

Bathrooms

The two master bathrooms feature large walk-in showers, whirlpool jacuzzi bathtubs, separate WC, his-and-hers twin sink areas, granite countertops, superb antique stone style Italian ceramic tiled floors and walls plus large vanity mirrors. The luxurious look is finished with designer fittings.

All four of the bathrooms are supplied with freshly laundered towels.

Outside

The verdant landscaped gardens allow plenty of shady spots to sit and enjoy the peace, with relaxing lounger chairs and a barbecue area allowing you to make the most of the outside space. The garden has been planted with an array of tropical plants, giving a vibrant feel to the grounds.

There is plenty of room underneath the car port for a boat on a trailer and you are nearby a public launch if you want to get out on the water. Also on the ground floor is plenty of storage for all your beach equipment, wet suits and hire bikes and access to the rest of the house. You can also access the sundeck up a wooden stairway to the side of the house.

Another super feature of this wonderful home is the tiki bar next to the pool area, where you can mix up your own special Anna Maria drink and, if you really want to, recreate that famous scene from the Tom Cruise film Cocktail. You're sure to have fun entertaining and being entertained here.
